NIPDB APPOINTS MRS JULIA MUETUDHANA AS ACTING CEO, BIDS FAREWELL TO MRS JESSICA HAUUANGA

NIPDB APPOINTS MRS JULIA MUETUDHANA AS ACTING CEO, BIDS FAREWELL TO MRS JESSICA HAUUANGA 

1. On behalf of the Namibia Investment Promotion and Development Board (NIPDB), the Board of Directors hereby announces that, with effect from 1 July 2026, Mrs Julia Muetudhana will assume the role of Acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the NIPDB. Mrs Muetudhana has served as the Executive: Talent, Innovation and Productivity since 2023, bringing with her a strong record of institutional knowledge and leadership within the organisation.

2. The Board has full confidence in Mrs Muetudhana's capabilities to lead the NIPDB during this period and wishes her well in this role. Mrs Muetudhana will serve as Acting CEO for a period of six months or the appointment of a substantive Chief Executive Officer is concluded.

3. The Board also takes this opportunity to thank Mrs Jessica Hauuanga, who has concluded her tenure as Acting CEO on 30 June 2026 and is leaving the NIPDB at the end of August 2026. Mrs Hauuanga capably steered the institution during this transitional phase, providing steady and dependable leadership.

4. During her time as Acting CEO, Mrs Hauuanga ensured continuity in the NIPDB's operations and sustained the institution's momentum in advancing Namibia's investment promotion and economic diversification agenda. The Board extends its sincere appreciation to Ms Hauuanga for her dedication and commitment during this period, and wishes her well in her future endeavours.

5. We encourage all our stakeholders to continue extending their support to the NIPDB's leadership, as they have done in the past, to ensure continuity and sustain investor confidence while the institution carries forward its work of positioning Namibia as a preferred investment destination.
