From Equipment to Enterprise Growth: Sheefeni NF Investment CC's Success Story

When small businesses have access to the right tools, they gain more than equipment, they gain the ability to grow, create jobs and strengthen local economies. This is the impact of the NIPDB - Rani Group MSME Equipment Support Grant Programme, which is empowering entrepreneurs across Namibia with practical support to unlock their business potential.

One such entrepreneur is Fransina Ndapandula Sheefeni, founder of Sheefeni NF Investment CC, a printing, design and branding business based in Ongha Settlement, Ohangwena Region. Established in 2025, the business was created to provide affordable, high-quality printing services closer to the community, reducing the need for customers to travel long distances for essential services.

Despite growing demand, limited access to specialised equipment forced the business to outsource parts of its production, increasing costs and delaying customer deliveries.

Through the MSME Equipment Support Grant Programme, Sheefeni NF Investment CC received a T-shirt heat press machine, a mug press machine and assorted printing mugs. The equipment has enabled the business to increase production capacity, improve product quality, reduce outsourcing costs and deliver faster, more efficient services.

"The equipment has significantly improved our efficiency and productivity. We can now complete customer orders faster, maintain higher quality standards and serve more customers," says Fransina Sheefeni.

Today, the business is better positioned to compete for larger contracts, expand its customer base and create new employment opportunities.

The success of Sheefeni NF Investment CC demonstrates the transformative impact of strategic partnerships between the public and private sectors. By investing in productive MSMEs, the NIPDB and the Rani Group are helping to build resilient Namibian businesses that drive innovation, stimulate local economic activity and contribute meaningfully to the country's industrialisation, job creation and inclusive economic growth agenda.
